The Parents Morning Out Program at Miami Shores Presbyterian Church is licensed by the Department of Children and Families, and our facility license number is C11MD1694.  Our program adheres to the guidelines found in the information “Know Your Childcare Facility” which is part of the Parent Handbook.  Children who have attained the age of 18 months through 3 years of age by September 1^st are eligible for enrollment.  The maximum enrollment as determined by the Department of Children and Families is 30 children.

Parents Morning Out is designed for parents who are interested in introducing their child to a pre-school program.  A parent selects either the Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday option or the Monday/Friday option.  The hours are from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

All the staff meets the minimum training requirements required by the Department of Children and Families.  Some staff members have post-secondary training.  The director holds a master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling, a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and is certified in Early Childhood Education and Reading. She also meets all requirements as set forth by the Department of Children and Families.
