Events & Activities
As MSPC moves into its next step in the transition, we hope you will participate. Thank you to all of you that gave your input with the Church Assessment Tool (CAT). Your input has allowed us to decipher what areas that we need to focus on next as your church leaders.
Our next stage in the transition will be a crucial piece as we move into our strategic plan. We are offering several listening sessions around (1) building relationships and (2) worship. These two areas were ones that you all said were important to you and to the life of the church.
Please join us for one of the two-part sessions this summer:
June 9 (building relationships) at 7 pm, in person (Fellowship Hall)
June 10 (worship) at 7 pm, in person (Fellowship Hall)
July 22 (building relationships) at 10 am, in person (Fellowship Hall)
July 23 (worship) at 10 am, in person (Fellowship Hall)
July 21 (building relationships) at 7 pm, ZOOM
July 22 (worship) at 7 pm, ZOOM
August 11 (building relationships) at 7 pm, in person (Fellowship Hall)
August 12 (worship) at 7 pm, in person (Fellowship Hall)
Are you ready to read and share thoughts and feelings and learn to be a better Christian all at the same time? Starting over the two-week period of September 19th to October 2nd, we will begin our small group sessions on the book of kindness! These groups will meet two times a month, for approximately one hour, to cover one chapter in the book and build relationships with each other. You can pick which day of the week and time will work for you, we tried to set up a variety. Choice of groups are as follows:
- Sunday morning 9 AM
- Sunday Noon after church
- Tuesday morning 10:00 AM
- Wednesday morning 7:30 AM will remain on zoom
- Wednesday noon (bring your own lunch)
- Wednesday evening 7:00 PM
The meetings will be held on Zoom if COVID Act Now for Miami-Dade County is still magenta, but when it becomes red, or better, the MSPC campus will open up if the group wants to gather at the church, stay on zoom, or wherever the group decides to meet. We hope these groups will encourage building relationships, having some fun, and learning new ways of kindness to show our love in Christ.

This year, MSPC’s Lenten sermon series and study will go hand-in-hand. Throughout Lent, we will be focusing on the theme: Called to Repair the Breach.
The idea of the church being called to be the repairer of broken walls will be our theme for Lent. After worshipping with us on Sundays at 11 am, we will host a study via ZOOM at 12:15 pm. Each study session will focus on the missions we support through One Great Hour of Sharing. And, you will have an opportunity to hear about the important work of restoration and shalom that our church is doing around the world. If you would like to participate in the study, contact Brian Dille: firstname.lastname@example.org.
