Shipwrecked is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch, and even taste! Sciency-Fun Gizmos, team-building games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. Join us for Shipwrecked VBS this summer, July 9th-13th! All rising PK4-5th grade students are welcomed to register as campers and youth entering grades 6-12 can sign up to volunteer. You can register at https://vbspro.events/p/events/mspcvbs2018. For more information, email Catherine Woods at email@example.com.
We need help gathering all of the supplies needed for VBS. Please stop by our VBS display in the Narthex and take a donation slip off the ship that fits a need that you can fulfill. Great News!! We are more than excited to announce that Anita Stevens has been offered and has accepted the position as our new MSPCS Head of School!
Anita Stevens will officially begin at MSPCS on July 1, 2018. Ms. Stevens is currently serving as Principal at Kasuun Elementary School in Anchorage, Alaska.
Ms. Stevens comes with over 25 years of experience as a Principal and Classroom Teacher. In 2015, she was awarded the National Distinguished Principal for the State of Alaska. She holds a Masters Degree in Education Administration and Counseling and a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education and Science.
We have worked diligently to identify well-qualified candidates for the Head of School position and were thrilled to receive so many terrific applicants. Ms. Anita Stevens stood out to us as someone who has the gifts and skills for the Head of School position and we felt deeply that God was calling Anita to MSPCS.
We are thrilled Anita Stevens will soon be a key part of the MSPCS community!
