Easter Lily Dedications
We are thrilled to once again be dedicating lilies to decorate our church for Easter. Purchase one or more of our lovely lilies and dedicate it in honor, or in memory of someone, a family, or a group. The cost is still $10.00. A member of the Worship Committee will be selling them on Sundays, March 27, April 3, and April 10th. Or you can order by calling the church office at 305-754-9541 (there are many ways to pay). You may take them home after the Easter services. Thank you.

Holy Week Worship Schedule

Moral Injury Discussion Sunday March 27 after 11am Worship
Facilitated by Christian Educator, Lisa Sullivan. March 27th, 15 minutes after church in the Fellowship Hall. Open to all.
Everyone has a moral compass but often through our own actions or no fault of our own it becomes damaged. Moral Injury resulted from PTSD research in Veterans who had suffered from bodily and moral injuries as result of their actions in war and combat. The research began to address and treat the whole person, the physical injuries and the unseen moral injuries.
Moral Injury is also experienced across disciplines, in the healthcare profession, journalism, clergy and any institution, government and or corporation that through its own negligence betrays the duties it has to the public can create harm and Moral Injury. The class will provide a basic introduction and discussion on how MI and its language may apply in our various contexts.

Taize Worship in the Chapel – March 2 – April 13 @ 7 pm
Taize is a community where the kindness of heart and simplicity would be at the center of everything. God is love alone. Join us as one community, every Wednesday evening at 7 PM, in the Chapel, from March 2nd through Holy Week, April 13th.

Car Wash Fundraiser February 6 & 20 @ 12 pm
Our 4/5th grade class will be washing cars to raise money for their March St. Augustine trip! Your car deserves to be hand-washed, with lots of love! Stop by the MSPC parking lot, after church to have our students (and parents) clean your car. ALL DONATIONS accepted to offset the cost of the trip. The St. Augustine Trip compliments the 4th-grade social studies curriculum, and since the 5th graders were not able to go last year due to COVID, they will be going this year. Thank you!

2021 Advent Devotional
Bread is a key theme for this year’s online devotional, which will continue beyond the four weeks of Advent through the 12 Days of Christmas and end on Epiphany, Jan. 6.
This devotional invites you to be part of building a tighter-knit community right where you are. Share the devotional with friends and family. Read and reflect together as a small group meeting over Zoom or in person. You are also encouraged to bake bread and share the loaves as gifts with others. Each Friday in Advent, a bread recipe will be offered. Make more than one loaf so that you can share one and keep the other to be part of your Sunday Advent practice of having a simple meal as you light the candles around the Advent Wreath. The devotional can be found on the web at https://www.presbyterianmission.org/ministries/today/advent2021 or by clicking HERE.
