Wisemen
Men who studied the heavens saw the brilliant star of Bethlehem appear in the Eastern sky. They knew this was no ordinary event! It was a celestial sign that the King of the Jews had been born.
King Herod was the ruler of Israel under the Romans. When he heard about the wise men and their search, he became afraid that Jesus would overthrow him. So, Herod secretly called for the wise men and learned from them the exact time when the star appeared. Then he sent them on their way saying, “Go and search for the child; and when you have found him, bring me word so that I may also go and pay him homage.
So, they set out to pay homage to this newborn king; taking with them gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Each night, the star would appear like a compass showing the way forward until they found the special baby with Mary, and they fell down and worshipped him and offered their gifts to him.
After they saw Jesus, the wise men were warned in a dream not to return to Herod, and they left for their own country by another road.
Los Tres Reyes Magos
Los hombres que estudiaron los cielos vieron aparecer la brillante estrella de Belén en el cielo oriental. ¡Sabían que este no era un evento ordinario! Era una señal celestial de que había nacido el Rey de los Judíos. El rey Herodes era el gobernante de Israel bajo los romanos. Cuando se enteró de los sabios y de su búsqueda, tuvo miedo de que Jesús lo derrocara. Entonces, Herodes llamó en secreto a los sabios y supo de ellos la hora exacta en que apareció la estrella. Luego los envió a su camino diciendo: “Vayan y busquen al niño; y cuando lo encuentres, avísame para que yo también vaya a rendirle homenaje. Entonces, se dispusieron a rendir homenaje a este rey recién nacido; llevándose regalos de oro, incienso y mirra. Cada noche, la estrella aparecía como una brújula que indicaba el camino a seguir hasta que encontraban al bebé especial con María, se postraban, lo adoraban y le ofrecían sus regalos. Después de ver a Jesús, a los magos se les advirtió en un sueño que no regresaran a Herodes, y partieron hacia su país por otro camino.

Chak swa, etwal la t ap parèt tankou yon bousòl ki montre wout la devan jiskaske yo jwenn ti bebe espesyal la avèk Mari, epi yo tonbe ajenou, yo adore l epi yo ofri kado yo ba li. Apre yo te wè Jezi, yo te avèti mesye saj yo nan yon rèv pou yo pa tounen al jwenn Ewòd, epi yo pati pou pwòp peyi yo sou yon lòt wout.
